Big Boy PJs!

I'm getting to be such a big boy. First, my mommy got me some new pajamas -- they have separate bottoms and tops, and they don't have feet! Also, I have four teeth now -- well, okay, three and a half, but that fourth one is almost all the way in. I also learned how to wave. I do it whenever someone tells me hello or goodbye. Or really any time I think someone might need waving at. But here's the best part -- I can feed myself now! Mommy and Daddy will put food on my tray and I get to pick it up all by myself and eat it.

I've started going to Kindermusik again. We sing songs, play with instruments, and dance. Today we got ride around the room in laundry baskets. I shared my basket with my friend Peyton. We had fun. I kept playing with her leg. Mommy though that was really funny, but I'm not sure why.

This weekend I'm staying with Nana B and Grandaddy while Mommy and Daddy go to a football game. I'm looking forward to it because I haven't seen them in a while. My grandaddy sounds so much better now when I talk to him on the phone. Daddy says he's almost back to his old self. I can't wait to give him and Nana a big hug (and to show them how to wave!).

One bad thing did happen this week -- I got my first ever black eye. I was trying to climb up on my toy piano and slipped and hit my eye. It swelled up and turned blue. Mommy was very upset, but Daddy told me it looked like I was wearing eye shadow! I'm sure it will get better soon.

My First Visit to Carter Finley

I've done so many things the last two weeks: stayed with my Nana and Papaw while Mommy and Daddy went out of town for a day, gone to eat lunch with friends, started back at Kindermusik, gone to visit my daddy's new office, and saw my first Tropical Storm move through our city. BUT on Saturday, I got to go to a real live football game to see the Wolfpack play. At first, I was having fun with everyone in the stands, but then I got a little hot with the sun directly in my face. I cried and Mommy took me downstairs to sit in the shade. She said it was okay, and that the Wolfpack were playing crummy anyway. Later, Daddy came to get me and Mommy went back upstairs. When the sun went down, we all went back up to watch the game. It was so fun to see all the people and to hear the band. I loved watching the game and liked the three little girls sitting behind us! I got to meet my Mommy and Daddy's friends, Brian and Leigh Kiser and their little girl, Riley. I wasn't ready to go yet, but Mommy and Daddy said we had to leave during the 3rd quarter so I could go home and get to bed. I was so excited about my first game and Mommy and Daddy were excited they FINALLY got to see the Wolfpack score. They even won the game!! Yay!
